Hypercholesterolemia has been reported to inhibit ischemia-induced angiogenesis. To address its effects on arteriogenesis, we investigated arterial growth in hypercholesterolemic low-density lipoprotein receptor(-/-)/ApoB-48(-/-) (HCE) mice.
