To explore roles of endogenous atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) in blood pressure and volume regulation, we examined the effects of a newly developed ANP antagonist, HS-142-1 (HS) in deoxycorticosterone acetate (DOCA)-salt hypertensive rats.
