. Home dialysis was used less by ethnic minorities, with non-Whites making up 28% of prevalent ICHD, 22% of PD and 13% of HHD. . The proportion of prevalent patients on each dialysis modality differed by level of social deprivation, with 16.3% and 9.8% of the least and most deprived quintiles of deprivation using PD, respectively. The difference for HHD is less marked (5.6% and 4.6% for the same quintiles).
