Berman presented a few examples of systematic CAM reviews before concluding with future challenges, such as conducting reliable subgroup analyses (e.g., individual patient data meta-analysis or network meta-analysis) and systematic reviews on complex interventions as well as defining what can be considered as scientifically rigorous or relevant to real-world practice of medicine.
