Initial therapy for craniopharyngioma remains controversial. Population-based datasets indicate that traditional algorithms [gross total resection (GTR) vs. subtotal resection (STR) +/- radiation therapy (XRT)] are often not employed. We investigated neurosurgical practice patterns.
