IALP Thanked Mara Behlau. At the Closing Ceremony, Tanya Gallagher, President of IALP, presented Mara Behlau with a plaque in appreciation of her 9 years of service as IALP President-Elect, President, and Past-President ( fig. 4 ). Social Program. Participants in the Congress visited several beautiful scenic sites in Torino including La Venaria Reale, one of the finest examples of the majesty of 17th and 18th century architecture. The Congress dinner was held in the renowned National Automobile Museum where attendees enjoyed the exhibition that told the story of the evolution of the motor car with spectacular displays of the valuable pieces in the collection ( fig. 5 ). At the Closing Ceremony, Tanya Gallagher, IALP President from 2010 to 2013, was thanked for her service by Oskar Schindler, Vice President and Chair of the Scientific Program Committee, and Antonio Schindler, chair of the Congress Organizing Committee ( fig. 6 ). Looking Forward to the 30th World Congress. At the Closing Ceremony, the Presidency was passed from Tanya Gallagher to Helen Grech, who will serve as the IALP President from 2013 to 2016. The Italian flag, representing the site of the 29th World Congress, was removed by Oskar Schindler and replaced by Aiofe McGuire with the Irish flag, representing the site of the 30th World Congress to be held in Dublin, Ireland in 2016 ( fig. 7 , 8 ).
