Serum levels of pneumocyte biomarkers KL-6 and surfactant protein D (SP-D) are useful diagnostic markers for interstitial lung diseases. However, associations of serum KL-6 and SP-D with radiologic findings in nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP) remain unclear.
