Editorial Board In July we enlarged our scope with the addition of a new focus area of ‘end-stage lung disease’ headed by Prof. Annette Boehler from the University Hospital of Zürich. Potential contributors, please send us your papers in this area! We are happy to announce that we have been able to fill two important gaps in our editorial board. Prof. Nino Künzli and Dr. Amar Mehta in Basel have joined the board as specialists in epidemiology, and Dr. Xavier Basagana Flores in Barcelona has joined as a statistical consultant. A further new board member is Dr. Alfredo Chetta in Parma. A big thank you must go to all board members, and especially to all Associate Editors who help to make Respiration the excellent journal it is.
