To compare the steady-state pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of two erythropoesis-stimulating agents (ESA), HX575 (Binocrit, Sandoz GmbH, Holzkirchen, Germany), human recombinant epoetin alfa approved as the first biosimilar ESA, and a comparator epoetin alfa, following multiple subcutaneous administrations.
