One of the leading experts in the field of Neuroendocrinology and Neuroimmunmodulation, Samuel Mac Donald McCann, known by all his friends as 'Don', passed away in 2007. This article pays tribute to his outstanding scientific contribution and a glimpse on his fascinating personality.
