A misorientation between two cubic crystallites can be described using different orientationparameters and represented in many symmetrically equivalent ways. It is, however, convenient whenthe misorientations between different pairs of crystallites all lie in the same base domain. This paperpresents a computer program which reduces a misorientation given in axis–angle or in Euler's spaceinto the base domain of the smallest angle of rotation.
