The object of this paper is to give new expressions for the wavefield produced when a time harmonic point source is diffracted bya wedge with Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions on itsfaces. The representation of the total field is expressed interms of quadratures of elementary functions, rather than Besselfunctions, which is usual in the literature. An analogousexpression is given for the three-dimensional free-space Green'sfunction
