The classical Banach-Stone theorem characterizes linearsurjective isometries between C(K)-spaces. The main aim of this paper is to present a survey ofBanach-Stone-theorem-type results between some functionspaces. The weighted substitution operators play an importantrole in characterization of isometries, disjointnesspreserving operators, and lattice homomorphisms. Some openproblems are given for further investigation
