Lin and Sjamaar have used symplectic Hodge theory to obtain canonical equivariant extensions forHamiltonian actions on closed symplectic manifolds that have the strong Lefschetz property. Here weobtain canonical equivariant extensions much more generally by means of classical Hodge theory
