The purpose of this paper is to introduce new types of asymptotically (g,φ)-contractions which generalize the BinayakS. Choudhury type contraction on fuzzy metric spaces and provesome fixed-point theorems for single- and multivalued mappingson fuzzy metric spaces. Hence, our results can be viewed as ageneralization and improvement of many recent results
