We investigate the fully developed flow between twoparallel plates and the film flow over a plate in an electricallyconducting fluid under the action of a parallel Lorentz force. TheLorentz force varies exponentially in the vertical direction dueto low-fluid electrical conductivity and the special arrangementof the magnetic and electric fields at the lower plate. Exactanalytical solutions are derived for velocity, flow rate, and wallshear stress at the plates. The velocity results are presented infigures. All these flows are new and are presented for the firsttime in the literature
