With the completion of a highly successful Canadian Digestive Disease Week (CDDW) in Banff earlier this month, the leadership of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) has been replaced in an orderly and planned fashion. It has been my honour to serve as the President of the CAG for the past two years. I trust that you will judge that some progress has been made and that not too many errors have occurred during my tenure as the 39th President of the CAG
