Automatic translation of process modeling formalisms

This paper demonstrates that the enaction of a software process can be separated from the formalism in which the process is modeled. To show this, we built a compiler capable of automatically translating a process model specified using Statemate into a MARVEL environment that supports the enaction of the process.
