Efficient techniques for inductance extraction of complex 3-D geometrics

In this paper we describe combining a mesh analysisequation formulation technique with a precondi-rioned GMRES matrix solution algorithm to acceleratethe determination of inductances of complex three-dimensional structures. Results from FASTHENRY,our $-D inductance eztraclion program, demonstratethat the method is more than an order of magnitudefaster than the standard solution techniques for largeproblems.
