International audienceIn this article, we consider a realistic vehicular mobility model, VehILux, and use a sensitivity analysis method to quantitatively study the influence and interdependencies of its parameters. The analysis reveals several properties in the set of parameters. Some are identified as irrelevant to the output while some have stronger impact than expected. This analysis is proposed as a preliminary step to the mobility model optimization, as it permits to significantly reduce the parameters search space
