International audienceExcited states in Po-212,Po-213,Po-214 have been populated using the 18O+Pb-208 reaction at 85 MeV beam energy and studied with the Euroball IV gamma multidetector ariay. Their level schemes have been widely extended at high spin. The configurations of the Po-213,Po-214 yrast states are discussed using results of empirical shell-model calculations and by analogy with the neighboring nuclei. The nuclear structure Po-212 is more complex, due to the competition of shell-model configurations with alpha-Pb-208 cluster configurations. The new information constitutes an important step for the determination of the effective nucleon-nucleon interactions beyond N = 126
