Hadron properties and their interactions in a nuclear environment are considered in the framework of the in-medium modified Skyrme model. Furthermore, the influence of the medium modifications of the single hadron properties and their interactions to the stability of the whole system is considered by using the variational method of the Hartree-Fock type. In addition to previous studies, we discuss the possible in-medium modifications of the stabilizing Skyrme term which can be related to the modifications of vector meson properties in a nuclear environment.
