$\phi$-meson mass in nuclear matter ($m_{\phi}^*$) is investigated using aneffective Lagrangian of $\phi$ interacting with octet baryons. $m_{\phi}^*$decreases by a few \% in nuclear matter due to the current conservation andeffective nucleon/hyperon masses. Its implication to the p-A and A-A collisionsare briefly discussed.Comment: 7 pages, latex, 3 postscript figures, submitted to Prog. Theor. Phy
