In response to the recent precise measurement of mesic X-ray yields, it became possible to discuss the cascade process in mesic atom more exactly in order to investigate the nuclear absorption process. It is shown for the muonic atom of 12C that the statistical distribution of the initial mesic bound states is more reasonable than the modified one earlier obtained by Eisenberg and Kessler. On the basis of this consideration, mesic cascade processes, including the strong absorption as well as the natural decay, are fully analysed and typical calculations are carried out for 9Be, 12C and 160, whose results are in good agreement with recent experimental ones.
