Diseases of Infancy and Childhood

This book has already acquired a reputation as a very sound and practical book on the diseases children, in its first two editions. The first edition only appeared in 1936, so that it is comparatively a new recruit to the field of pediatrics; its author however is not, and the book has the advantage of his long practical experience in the treatment of children, as well as his obvious ability to present his subject completely and concisely in a manner suitable for the student or practitioner. For the latter, it forms a very valuable book -of reference.
