CHROMagar Candida medium is used for the isolation and identification ofCandida species, but it does not differentiateCandida albicans fromCandida dubliniensis . This differentiation can be achieved by using Pal's agar, which cannot be used in primary isolation. We have combined both media to obtain a new medium that can be used for the isolation and identification ofC. dubliniensis in primary cultures.
