We report the first case of infection caused byGraphium basitruncatum in a man with acute leukemia who developed persistent fungemia and skin lesions.G. basitruncatum , a member of theMicroascaceae , is phylogenetically and morphologically distinct fromGraphium penicillioides and the opportunistic pathogensScedosporium apiospermum (Pseudallescheria boydii ) andScedosporium prolificans .
