The identification ofChlamydia trachomatis genotypes is important for both the study of molecular epidemiology and infection control. We have developed a microsphere suspension array assay that can identifyC. trachomatis genotypes rapidly and accurately and also discriminate among multiple genotypes in one clinical specimen.
