Class 1 and 2 integrons were detected in 45.8% (54/118) and 19.5% (23/118) of our testedPseudomonas aeruginosa isolates, respectively. Three strains were positive for both the integrons. This is the first report of class 2 integrons inP. aeruginosa and also of isolates carrying class 1 and 2 integrons simultaneously.
