Rickettsial diseases may play an important part in the differential diagnosis of fever in returned travelers. The initial empirical treatment needs to takeRickettsia species into consideration to avoid the development of life-threatening courses. Here, we present a case of interstitial pneumonia associated withRickettsia typhi infection treated with moxifloxacin.
