Pseudomonas spp. are ubiquitous bacteria able to thrive in a wide range of ecological niches, and lipopeptides often support their lifestyle but also their interaction with other micro- and macro-organisms. Therefore, the production of lipopeptides is widespread amongPseudomonas strains.
