We report here the emergence of seven IMP-4-producingRaoultella ornithinolytica isolates obtained from one patient. All isolates carried thebla IMP-4 carbapenemase gene, five isolates also carriedbla SHV-12 , four containedbla TEM-1 , and one containedbla OXA-1 . Notably, theR. ornithinolytica isolate Ro25724 also expressedKlebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase (KPC)-2. Thebla KPC-2 gene was located on a Tn3 -Tn4401 integration structure on a plasmid of ∼450 kb. This is the first description of the coexistence ofbla KPC-2 andbla IMP-4 from the genusRaoultella .
