Omadacycline is a novel aminomethylcycline antibiotic with potent activity againstStaphylococcus aureus , including methicillin-susceptibleS. aureus (MSSA) and methicillin-resistantS. aureus (MRSA). We investigated the pharmacodynamic activity of omadacycline against 10 MSSA/MRSA strains in a neutropenic murine thigh model.
