"The book is well recognised as a standard work on physiology. . . . The medical student will find in It all he requires for the passage of his examination in physiology, and we recommend the rolame to him with all confidence."—British Medical Jottrnul. Once more this standard work has been thoroughly revised and brought up-to-date Much new matter lias been added, necessitating the rewriting of many of the chapters, and some of the old matter has been excised; the price has also been reduced. It has also been necessary to reset the wbole volume, and it is therefore a new edition in the fullest sense. An additional and very interesting new feature of the book is the inclusion of portraits of celebrated physiologists from the past.
