Difusão da Ciência no Geopark Araripe, Ceará, Brasil

The goal this paper is to rule out educational and scientific relevance of the Geopark Araripe, for the diffusion and popularization of science through activities geotourism and visitation, as well as show the geotourism and scientific tourism as interrelated activities in these protected areas at the geopark of international concern, in this way rising the scientific geotourism. It was investigated conditions transmission of knowledge in the study area. The nature of the research was based on an approach to qualitative character e finally, this research has characterized as descriptive. The technical procedures developed in research were based on two ways: the bibliographic and documentary.
