WOSInternational audienceIt is proposed to discuss a strategy to control a mechanical test by using digital image correlation. A two-loop system is developed to integrate a sub-pixel correlation algorithm to evaluate the average strain of a region of interest and control a servo-hydraulic testing machine. An a priori uncertainty analysis is validated a posteriori with actual strain measurements. A tensile test is analyzed with the developed system
