Plasma membrane vesicles from Saccharomyces cerevisiae were incubated with [γ‐ 32 P]ATP. Several phosphorylated protein bands were separated by LiDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. One of these bands with an apparent M r of 145 000 was identified by immunoprecipitation as a membrane‐bound phospholipase.
