Lucinda Douglas‐Menzies is a fine‐art photographer. More than 70 of her portraits are owned by the National Portrait Gallery, including 10 from her latest exhibition “Portraits of Astronomers”, which will tour the UK during IYA2009. Here she explains why she chose astronomers.
