4 páginas, 3 figuras.This year is the 150th anniversary of\udthe largest meteorite fall in Spain:\udthe Molina H5 ordinary chondrite.\udThis paper aims to bring to light this\udemblematic and remarkable meteorite\udevent in the social-scientific context of\ud1858 by: giving a brief overview of the\udevolution of research on meteorites in\udSpain; explaining the circumstances\udsurrounding the fall, recovering\udunique historical documentation\udabout the event; and describing its\udmain mineralogical, petrologic and\udgeochemical features. Finally, a minor\udchange of the meteorite’s name is\udproposed, in line with the renaming of\udthe locality of the fall.Peer reviewe
