SUMMARY The paper is concerned with the problem of finding the figure of a geological section for given data from gravimetrical and seismic measurements. The figure is divided into the set of partial figures which together construct the whole figure in such a way that it would satisfy both the seismic and gravimetrical data. The problem so formulated was solved by the ‘voting’ method. Two examples are presented as well as the program listing in the FORTRAN language.
