Summary. The paper describes the microgravitational field acting in a rotating platform in inertial motion around a planet. It is shown that the equipotentials are, under circumstances, families of hyperboloids or ellipsoids, degenerating in particular cases in hyperbolic or in elliptical cylinders, or even in a family of parallel planes.
