Summary. A method of obtaining solutions to induction problems in layered media for arbitrary sources is presented. The technique makes use of the Fourier transformation and involves a construction over elementary current filaments. To ensure charge continuity in the filament, a current potential source is derived. Two examples of induction in layered media are given to illustrate the method.
