A taxonomic revision of the recently proposed neotropical genus Christensonella (tribe Cymbideae, subtribe Maxillariinae) is presented. Twelve species are recognized: C. echinophyta , C. ferdinandiana , C. huntii , C. nardoides , C. neowiedii C. pacholskii , C. pachyphylla , C. paranaensis , C. pumila , C. subulata , C. subulifolia and C. uncata .
