A new species of Cryptolepis is described from Kenya and Tanzania. It is a tropical forest climber and its unique second corona whorl of deeply cleft lobes distinguishes it from all other Cryptolepis species. © 2008 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2008, 157 , 343–346.
