A new record of Astragalus pinetorum Boiss. in Turkey is described as a new subspecies, A. pinetorum Boiss. ssp. multifoliatus Akpulat & Çelik. The diagnostic characters, description, detailed illustrations, and taxonomic comments are presented. Its characteristics are compared with those of the three related subspecies of A. pinetorum . The geographical distribution of A. pinetorum ssp. multifoliatus is mapped.
