I Have Seen the Future, and it is Us

It' s been just over ten years since Scientific American published a cover story on virtual environments at NASA Ames: the article that launched a thousand projects. Since then, VR technologies have matured to the point where it' s a potent reality in commercial and research organizations worldwide.
