About the Israeli Chapter of the IEEE Computer Society

T he Israeli Chapter of the IEEE Computer Society has taken on the goal of promoting computer and software technology in Israel through study, research, and application. The high technology crisis of 200 I through 2003 has given us an opportunity to reassess the way we have been developing software intensive systems and to reflect upon the problems we have ignored amid the excitement of the high technology boom of the 1990s. Thus, our goal now is to achieve a solid and self-sustained technological success by means of a strong, highly professional work culture.
