In this workshop, I will describe our on-going research activities related to the development of educational mobile services. Issues and concepts such as data portability, media migration, reusability of information and contextual services will be discussed. I will illustrate some of these concepts by presenting a number of applications we have developed and implemented in order to support nomadic learners and to show the potential benefits of re-using and adapting media content and merging "the wired" Internet with the wireless world.
