Isocitrate dehydrogenase 2 (Icd‐2, Rv0066c) from Mycobacterium tuberculosis was cloned and heterologously expressed in Escherichia coli . The protein was purified by affinity and size‐exclusion chromatography and crystallized. A complete data set has been collected and reduced to 3.25 Å resolution in space group C 2. Preliminary diffraction data analysis suggests a complex packing with at least six molecules in the asymmetric unit.
