In the title compound, C 10 H 9 NO 3 , the dihedral angle between the benzene and pyrrolidine rings is 53.9 (1)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked through strong O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into zigzag C (8) chains running along [010]. The chains are linked by C—H⋯π interactions forming sheets lying parallel to (100).
